Rashtiani was best known for his roles in several notable films: Marooned in Iraq (2002): The character Audeh in this film directed by Bahman Ghobadi. Half Moon (2006): Played the role of Kako in another collaboration with director Bahman Ghobadi. Memories on Stone (2014): Featured as The Smuggler in this film. His Natural and Funny performances contributed significantly to Kurdish cinema, particularly in films highlighting Kurdish culture and stories.
